Instructors
Originally operated as Education Seminars, Dick Pontello and Wiley Earp offered training and CEU courses to home inspectors from 1990- 2003. After the passing of Wiley in 2003, Dick continues their tradition of offering high quality courses that are accredited each year by the North Carolina Home Inspection Licensing Board. The current instructors for this seminar are Dick Pontello and Tom Williams.

Both Instructors are:
Full time state licensed home inspectors and general contractors

They have provided home inspections seminars since 1992.

They are certified members of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and NCLHIA as well as 3rd Party Inspectors and members of the Exterior Design Institute.

Notes
Class size is limited to 12 students per seminar.

For the hands on session, you will need to bring coveralls, knee pads, gloves, extra shoes, a flashlight, and any other tools you feel are necessary to conduct an home inspection. Carbon monoxide monitors will be available for use. /

License Requirements
All home inspectors are mandated to acquire 12 hours of continuing education credits prior to the September 30 license expiration date. Our CEU courses are approved annually by the North Carolina Home Inspection Licensing Board.

As an additional service to you, your hours of attendance for approved CEU classes will be submitted automatically to the Licensing Board, along with the $56 filing fee for licensing. This Hands-On seminar awards 16 CEU units.

Our continuing credit courses are approved by the NCHILB.
